Ben Barry is a Principal on the Services team for PPC. Ben works with Kenco Logistics, Lawley, and Valicor. Ben initially joined PPC in 2017 as an Associate and rejoined in 2021 after serving as Chief of Staff at Valicor, a PPC Company, for one year. Prior to PPC, Ben was an Associate at Summit Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst at Baird. Ben received his B.B.A. from Emory University.
Jeff Carlson is Head of Technology for PPC and oversees PPC’s IT team and provides strategic and tactical guidance as well as develops cross-collaboration across the IT professionals at the PPC Companies. Jeff joined PPC in 2020 after previously having served as Director of Information Technology at Pritzker Group since 2014. Prior to PPC/Pritzker Group, Jeff was a Vice President of Information Technology at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, a Vice President at Bank of America, and a Senior Developer at Vista Software Solutions (now JDA Software). Jeff received his M.S. and B.S. from Northern Illinois University.
Patrick Hodan is a Vice President on the Manufactured Products team for PPC. Patrick works with Aurorium, C.H. Guenther, and PLZ. Patrick initially joined PPC in 2020 as an Associate and re-joined in 2025 after business school. Prior to PPC, Patrick was an investment banking associate in the Services & Industrials Group at William Blair in Chicago. Patrick received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame where he was a four-time monogram winner as a member of the soccer team.
Matthew Kasper is Vice President – Operations & Strategic Finance for PPC. Matthew works with the PPC Companies to support the execution of strategic, financial, and operational value creation initiatives. Matthew joined PPC in 2020 as an Associate. Prior to PPC, Matthew was an investment banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets. Matthew received his B.S. from Indiana University.

Dave is an Operating Partner at PPC leading the firm’s activities in the Healthcare sector. Prior to joining PPC, Dave was most recently executive chairman and CEO of LabCorp (NYSE: LH). Dave is a respected senior healthcare leader who operates with a strong emphasis on deeply understanding the healthcare industry, strategic planning, “playing the long game,” and staying ahead of rapidly evolving industry trends and challenges. Under his leadership, LabCorp transformed from a pure-play U.S. testing laboratory into a leading global life sciences company — tripling in size through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, entering the Fortune 500, and being named to Fortune’s List of World’s Most Admired Companies. It is now the world’s largest clinical laboratory and second-largest drug development business.
Dave is the board chair of PATH, a nonprofit global health organization, and was appointed in 2017 to the advisory board for Duke University’s Robert J. Margolis, MD, Center for Health Policy. He previously served on the board of Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), a Fortune 20 healthcare company, Elon University and the American Clinical Laboratory Association, where he served as board chair from 2010 to 2014. Dave is also on the board of The Emily K Center, a college-readiness center that Duke Men's Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski founded to prepare high school students in Durham, North Carolina for college and leadership.

Caitlin Valko is an Office Administrator at PPC and assists in overall office management and coordination, conferencing, administrative activities, and other projects. Noelia joined PPC in 2020 as an Executive Assistant and supports the Services team. Prior to joining PPC, Noelia was an Executive Assistant at BDT & Company, LLC where she supported the Network Team. Prior to BDT, Noelia was an Executive Assistant at Wind Point Partners, a private equity investment firm.
Noelia received her B.A. in Psychology and Art from the University of Iowa, with an Honors in Art.

Ruby Chandy is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. Ruby was formerly President of the Industrial Division of Pall Corporation. Earlier in her career, Ruby held various leadership roles at Dow Chemical, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Boston Scientific, and Millipore. Ruby currently serves on boards related to Ametek, DuPont, Flowserve Corporations, and MIT Sloan School. Ruby is a Mentor-in-Residence for University of Pennsylvania PCI Ventures. She was previously on boards related to Idex Corporation, Infiltrator Water Technologies, Gryphon Investors, and Unicef New England. Ruby received a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT, a MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, and a SM in Business from the MIT Sloan School.
Matt Cook is the former CEO of LBP Manufacturing, a PPC company. Under his leadership over 20 years, the company expanded manufacturing products and services around the globe. LBP services a broad range of clients with fiber-based and sustainable foodservice packaging. Companies such as McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks seek differentiation, innovation and sustainability in their packaging portfolios.
Phillip has served as a board member on several company, educational and civic organizational boards. He is currently serving on the board of Rockwell Automation, a public company providing industrial automation and information technology. He also sits on the board of the University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees and The Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio.
Phillip received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
Alan Muney previously served as Cigna’s Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Total Health and Network. In his role as Chief Medical Officer, Alan was responsible for Cigna’s clinical strategy and policy, health advocacy programs, coverage policy, and quality measurement and improvement. As lead for Total Health and Network, Alan was responsible for the market medical and clinical nurse executives, total health physician operations, total health clinical operations, dental clinical operations, as well as medical, behavioral and dental contracting. Alan also oversaw Cigna’s team of doctors, dentists, nurses and behavioral health clinicians involved in the company’s health management and wellness programs.
Before joining Cigna, Alan was an Executive Director in the Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group, and the CEO of Equity Healthcare, which he founded to manage the healthcare costs of Blackstone’s portfolio companies. While at Blackstone, he also served on the Board of Directors of Vanguard Health System and Team Health. Prior to Blackstone, Alan was the executive vice president and chief medical officer of Oxford Health Plans and chief medical officer of United Healthcare of the Northeast region from 1998-2007. Prior to that, he was senior vice president and chief medical officer for Avanti Health systems, a division of NYLCare health plans. He was also regional medical director for Mullikin Medical Centers, a large multi-specialty medical group in California. He is also a frequent lecturer on issues in managed health care.
Board-certified in pediatrics, Alan received his B.S. in Biology and his Doctor of Medicine degrees from Brown University, and a Master in Health Administration from the University of La Verne.
Stephen Newlin is a member of PPC Advisory Board. Steve formerly served as Chairman and CEO of Univar Solutions. Earlier in his career, Steve held various leadership roles at PolyOne Corporation, Ecolab Incorporated, and Nalco Chemical Company. Steve currently serves on boards related to Univar Solutions and Hexion. He is the Chairman of the Oshkosh Corporation. Steve also served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. Steve received a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an honorary Doctorate of Public Service from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. He completed the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
Doug Oberhelman is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. Doug formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Caterpillar Inc. He also held the positions of Vice President and CFO. Earlier in his career, Doug held multiple leadership roles at Caterpillar Inc and lived in various cities across North America, South America, and Asia during his tenure. Doug currently serves on boards related to Exxon Mobil Corporation, Peter Kiewit Sons’, Inc., and Bombardier Inc. He also serves as Vice President of the Wetlands America Trust, a Director on boards related to Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation and Intersect Illinois, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Easter Seals Foundation of Central Illinois. Doug was previously the Chair of the Business Roundtable and the National Association of Manufacturers and also served on the boards of Eli Lilly and Company and Ameren Corporation. Doug received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
David Steiner is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. He was formerly CEO and President of Waste Management. He also held the positions of CFO, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and Deputy General Counsel. Earlier in his career, David practiced law at Phelps Dunbar, Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher and Jones Walker. David currently serves on boards related to FedEx and Vulcan Materials. He also serves on a number of non-profit and educational boards, including the EJ Ourso School of Business at LSU. David received a BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University and a JD from the UCLA School of Law.
Mike Lynch is a Senior Advisor to PPC, counseling the firm’s Healthcare companies. Prior to his Senior Advisor role, Mike was an Operating Partner, leading the firm’s operating activities in the Healthcare sector. Mike previously served as chief executive officer of Cardinal Health’s medical segment, a multi-billion dollar business with more than 15,000 employees in nine countries serving hospitals, clinics and other sites of care worldwide. Mike is a seasoned global executive with 28 years of strategic and operational experience in medical products manufacturing, sourcing and distribution. He held leadership roles in several Cardinal Health businesses, consistently growing them through acquisitions, alliances, organic revenue and operational improvements.
Mike is a graduate of Cornell University and sits on the board of directors for Boston Centerless and AdvaMed. Mike also serves as Chairman of the board of directors of PathGroup, a member of the PPC group of operating companies.

Terry serves as a Senior Advisor to PPC and was previously an Operating Partner at PPC, leading the firm’s activities in the Manufactured Products sector. Terry has more than 25 years of executive experience in refining, specialty chemicals, plastics, process automation and steel. Prior to joining PPC, Terry was an Executive Advisor and member of the Advisory Board of Aurora Capital Partners for ten years. Prior to Aurora, Terry was COO of Gerdau Ameristeel, one of the largest long steel producers in North America. Previously, Terry joined Tyco International as one of the operating executives charged with turning around Tyco, assuming the role of President of Tyco Plastics and Adhesives. Earlier in his career he was part of AlliedSignal, which ultimately became Honeywell, in Specialty Chemicals where he had numerous roles in Business Development, Marketing and was the VP-GM of the global Fluorine Products business and then President of the global Process Solutions Division. Terry began his career with Pennzoil and Morton International.
Terry received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
