Associate - Partner Relations
and Marketing

Nicole joined PPC in 2018 and is the Partner Relations and Marketing Associate. Prior to joining PPC, she supported the Legal and Compliance teams as well as the Board of Trustees at Jackson National Asset Management, LLC.  Nicole started her career at Magnetar Capital, LLC.

Nicole received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University.

Vice President – Services

Alyson Aurand is a Vice President on the Services team for PPC. Alyson works with Valicor and EDP. Alyson joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Alyson was a Senior Associate at Wind Point Partners and a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Alyson received her M.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and her B.S. from Clemson University.

Principal - Operations Group

David Baker is a Principal in the Operations Group for PPC. David works across the PPC Companies on strategy, operational improvements, and consulting projects. David joined PPC in 2019 after having worked with the Firm as an independent consultant since 2015. Prior to being an independent consultant, David served as Vice President of Strategy & International Development at Outerwall (then owner of the Redbox and Coinstar kiosks), a Senior Manager/Principal with Bain & Company, and previously held various consulting roles at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and UMS Group. David received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.A. from Williams College.

Executive Assistant

Angela Baroni is an Executive Assistant at PPC. Angela joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Angela was an Executive Assistant at GTCR, Rothschild & Co., and Lincoln International. Angela received her B.A. from The University of Illinois at Chicago.

Principal – Services

Ben Barry is a Principal on the Services team for PPC. Ben works with Kenco Logistics, Lawley, and Valicor. Ben initially joined PPC in 2017 as an Associate and rejoined in 2021 after serving as Chief of Staff at Valicor, a PPC Company, for one year. Prior to PPC, Ben was an Associate at Summit Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst at Baird. Ben received his B.B.A. from Emory University.

Executive Assistant

Haley Bass is an Executive Assistant for PPC. Haley joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Haley was an Executive Assistant at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Haley received her B.A. from St. Norbert College.

Senior Finance Associate

Ellie Baumgartner is a Senior Finance Associate for PPC. Ellie joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Ellie was a Senior Auditor for Deloitte - Chicago, primarily serving Private Equity and Real Estate clients. Ellie received her M.Acc. and B.S. from the University of Missouri.

Controller

Brian joined PPC in 2018 as the Controller, where he assists in overseeing the financial reporting, tax, and fund management functions.  Prior to joining PPC, Brian was a Finance and Accounting Manager at Pritzker Group, where he spent 14 years managing all aspects related to the investment partnerships of the family.

Brian attended Bucknell University where he received a B.S. in Accounting.

Executive Assistant

Christina joined PPC in 2019 as an Executive Assistant and supports the firm's Operations team. Prior to joining PPC, Christina was an Executive Assistant for 5 years at Imerman Angels, a non-profit focused on one-on-one cancer support.  Prior to Imerman Angels, Christina was a Collections Analyst at Tribune Media Services.

Christina received her B.S. in Business Administration from the Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela.

Executive Assistant

April Bennett is an Executive Assistant for PPC. April joined PPC in 2025. Prior to PPC, April was an Executive Assistant at Invenergy and Thornton Tomasetti. April received her B.A. from Northern Illinois University and is a LEED Green Associate, a credential from the U.S. Green Building Council that showcases her expertise in sustainable building practices.

Senior Associate

Prior to joining PPC, Greg was an investment banking analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Chicago. While at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Greg provided analytical support on mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, financings and other financial advisory services.

Greg received his B.A. cum laude in Economics and History from Northwestern University.

Alyssa Brand is an Associate for PPC. Alyssa joined PPC in 2025. Alyssa works with PLZ and Sugar Foods. Prior to PPC, Alyssa was an Associate at PSG and an investment banking Analyst at Baird. Alyssa received her B.S. from Drake University, where she was a four-time letter winner and Captain of the soccer team.

Assistant General Counsel, Chief Compliance
and ESG Officer

Chris Brannan serves as the Assistant General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Officer for PPC. As Assistant General Counsel, Chris works with PPC and the PPC Companies on regulatory compliance, transaction execution, and various other legal matters. As ESG Officer, Chris manages PPC’s communications and tracking programs related to ESG and works with the Firm and the PPC Companies to further ESG efforts and initiatives. Chris joined PPC in 2017 as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to PPC, Chris was an attorney in the M&A practices at Winston & Strawn LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP.  Prior to law school, Chris was a Tax/Assurance Associate at PwC, where he received his CPA license (inactive). Chris received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. from Bucknell University where he was a member of the baseball team.

Operating Partner - Manufactured Products

Chris Brickman is an Operating Partner for PPC and co-leads the Firm’s Manufactured Products team. Chris works with Bardstown Bourbon Company, C.H. Guenther, Monogram Foods, and Sugar Foods. Chris joined PPC in 2023. Prior to PPC, Chris served as President and CEO of Sally Beauty Holdings. Previously, Chris held several senior positions at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, including President – International Consumer, President – Kimberly-Clark Professional, and Senior Vice President of Strategy. Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Chris was a Partner at McKinsey & Company after serving as President & CEO of Whitlock Packaging Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Guinness Brewing Worldwide and The NutraSweet Company after starting his career at Boston Consulting Group. Chris received his B.A. from Occidental College.

Vice President - Manufactured Products

Spenser Brown is a Vice President on the Manufactured Products team for PPC. Spenser works with Buckman, NAI Group, and Plaskolite. Spenser joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Spenser was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Capital Partners and previously was an investment banking Associate, Senior Analyst, and Analyst at Citi. Spenser received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a dual B.S. from Milwaukee School of Engineering, where he graduated as valedictorian and served as an Assistant Coach for the NCAA DIII men's ice hockey team. Spenser is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®).

Executive Assistant

Melanie joined PPC in 2018 as an Executive Assistant and supports the Healthcare team. Prior to joining PPC, she, with her husband, co-founded and operated a gourmet fast-casual food business in New York City for over 8 years. Prior to that she spent over 7 years working in Sales for two major global fashion brands.

Melanie received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a full merit-based Regents’ Scholarship.

Investment Partner - Services

Anthony Cardona is an Investment Partner on the Services team for PPC. Anthony works with Highline Warren, Kenco Logistics, Lawley, and Valicor. Anthony initially joined PPC in 2014 as an Associate and re-joined in 2018 after business school. Prior to PPC, Anthony was an Investment Banking Analyst at Lincoln International. Anthony received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.S. from Washington and Lee University.

Executive Assistant

Meaghan Carey is an Executive Assistant at PPC. Meaghan joined PPC in 2021. Prior to PPC, Meaghan supported the General Counsel, CFO, Managing Principal, and Investment Committee Members at Walton Street Capital and was on the staff support team at Heidrick & Struggles. Meaghan received her B.A. from St. Ambrose University.

Head of Technology

Jeff Carlson is Head of Technology for PPC and oversees PPC’s IT team and provides strategic and tactical guidance as well as develops cross-collaboration across the IT professionals at the PPC Companies. Jeff joined PPC in 2020 after previously having served as Director of Information Technology at Pritzker Group since 2014. Prior to PPC/Pritzker Group, Jeff was a Vice President of Information Technology at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, a Vice President at Bank of America, and a Senior Developer at Vista Software Solutions (now JDA Software). Jeff received his M.S. and B.S. from Northern Illinois University.

Demetre Carnot is an Associate for PPC. Demetre works with PathGroup and Plaskolite. Demetre joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Demetre was an investment banking Analyst in the Industrial Growth Products group at William Blair. Demetre received his B.S. from Miami University.

Operating Partner – Commercial

Carter Cast is an Operating Partner for PPC and works across the PPC Companies on commercial excellence activities that drive primary demand. Carter joined PPC in 2023 after having served as a Senior Advisor to the Firm for many years. Carter concurrently serves as the Michael S. and Mary Sue Shannon Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He is also a member of the board of directors for the global snacking company Kellanova (NYSE: K). Prior to his teaching career, Carter launched and served as CEO of Walmart.com and was part of the launch team for Blue Nile, Inc., an online seller of diamonds and fine jewelry. Earlier in his career, Carter spent over a decade at PepsiCo Inc. where he ran the corn chip and salsa categories for Frito Lay, Inc.  Carter received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.A. from Stanford University.

Investment Partner - Manufactured Products

Thomas Chadwick is an Investment Partner on the Manufactured Products team for PPC. Thomas works with Aurorium, Buckman, NAI Group, Plaskolite, and Technimark. Thomas joined PPC in 2017 as a Vice President. Prior to PPC, Thomas was an Associate at Madison Dearborn Capital Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank. Thomas received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Senior Associate

Dennis Choi is a Senior Associate for PPC. Dennis works with Monogram Foods and NAI Group. Dennis joined PPC in 2021 as an Associate. Prior to PPC, Dennis was an Investment Banking Analyst at Houlihan Lokey. Dennis received his B.S. from Indiana University.

Human Resources Generalist

Esther Choi is a Human Resources Generalist for PPC and supports all internal HR functions at PPC. Esther joined PPC in 2022 as Human Resources Coordinator. Prior to PPC, Esther was a Human Resources Coordinator and Office Manager at Envoy Global, a Legal Assistant at Trivedi & Khan, P.C., and a Customer Service Specialist at the Georgia Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. Esther received her B.B.A. from Georgia State University.

Associate

Prior to joining PPC, Rachel was an investment banking analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Wells Fargo Securities in New York. While at Wells Fargo, Rachel provided analytical support on mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and other financial advisory services.

Rachel received her B.S. in Economics from Duke University.

Rebecca Converse, Partner, is the Head of Global Strategic Partnerships for PPC. Rebecca focuses on developing relationships and communications for PPC’s investor partners as well as oversees PPC’s events, marketing, and communications team. Rebecca joined PPC in 2021. Prior to PPC, Rebecca founded and served as Managing Principal of Cycle Communications, a specialty consulting group focused on investor relations and communications development initiatives for private equity firms and investors. Previously, Rebecca began her career and spent 17 years with Wind Point Partners, where she was ultimately the Director of Investor Relations, Marketing, and Communications. Rebecca received her M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Executive Assistant

Graciela joined PPC in 2021 as an Executive Assistant and supports the Operations Team. Prior to joining PPC, Graciela worked as a Real Estate Paralegal for The Wolcott Group, Inc. a private equity firm. Prior to TWG, Graciela worked at Shegerian & Associates as a Legal Secretary where she supported the San Diego office.

Graciela is currently pursuing her BA in Business Management.

Juan Crawford is an Associate for PPC. Juan works with Aurorium. Juan joined PPC in 2023. Prior to PPC, Juan was an investment banking Associate at Bank of America and an investment banking Analyst at BMO Capital Markets. Juan received his B.S.B.A. from the University of Missouri.

Keirsten Culler is a Receptionist at PPC. Keirsten joined PPC in 2025. Prior to PPC, Keirsten was an Administrative Intern at CBIZ. Keirsten received her B.B.A. from Cleveland State University.

Finance Manager

Bradley Davis is the Finance Manager for PPC and supports financial reporting, fund management functions, and accounts payable process. Bradley joined PPC in 2019 as a Senior Accountant. Prior to PPC, Bradley was a Senior Associate at RSM US LLP where he focused on private equity tax compliance. Bradley received his dual B.S. from Indiana University. Bradley is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois.

Brooke DelPiccolo is a Senior Associate on the Partner Relations and Marketing team for PPC and focuses on materials development, information requests, and portal management for the Firm’s investor partners. Brooke joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Brooke was a Senior Associate at Dubin Clark & Company, Inc., an Analyst at Deutsche Bank, and held an investor relations support role at Audax Group. Brooke received her B.A. and B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

Principal - Manufactured Products

Kaitlyn Desai is a Principal on the Manufactured Products team for PPC. Kaitlyn works with Americhem, PLZ, and ProAmpac. Kaitlyn joined PPC in 2019 as a Vice President after serving as an intern during business school. Prior to PPC, Kaitlyn was an Associate Director at SSA & Company, a Finance Coordinator at Livestream, and an Analyst at Deutsche Bank. Kaitlyn received her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and her B.A. from Claremont McKenna College, where she was a Robert Day Scholar and four-time letter winner as a member of the lacrosse team.

Senior Associate

Prior to joining PPC, Edgardo was an investment banking analyst in the Services & Industrials Group at William Blair in Chicago. While at William Blair, Edgardo provided analytical support on mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, financings and other financial advisory services.

Edgardo received his B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Edgardo is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Vice President – Operations Management

Alex Dexeus is a Vice President of Operations Management for PPC. Alex works across the Family of Companies on acquisition integrations, project management, and operational improvement initiatives. Prior to PPC, Alex attended business school and was an intern with Plaskolite as Finance Project Manager. Prior to business school, Alex worked at ExxonMobil where he served as a Project Manager for major chemical plant expansion projects and as a Product Manager for ExxonMobil’s specialty chemicals business. Alex received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, his B.S. in Engineering from Purdue University, and is an actively licensed Professional Engineer.

Audra Donnelly is an Executive Assistant at PPC. Audra joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Audra was an Executive Assistant and Project Manager at JamesDruryPartners, a board advisory services firm. She started her career at a non-profit organization before moving into an Executive Assistant role at a financial technology company. Audra received her B.A. from Lake Forest College.

James Dziubla is the Fund Controller for PPC. James joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, James was a Director of Fund Administration at E78 Partners where he oversaw accounting, financial reporting, and investor relations services for private equity clients. James began his career as a financial services auditor at RSM and PwC. James received his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Amanda Essay is Vice President – Financial Performance for PPC. Amanda works with PPC and across the PPC Companies on accounting, finance, and reporting matters. Amanda joined PPC in 2018 as Finance Manager. Prior to PPC, Amanda was a Transaction Services Senior Associate and Associate at PwC’s capital markets and accounting advisory group. Amanda received her M.S. and her B.A. from Vanderbilt University, where she was a four-time monogram winner as a member of the soccer team. Amanda is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois.

Event Coordinator

Cait Farry is an Event Coordinator for PPC and manages internal and external events across the Firm. Cait joined PPC in 2019 as an Executive Assistant. Prior to PPC, Cait was a Marketing and Project Support Coordinator at William Blair. Cait serves as a member on the Young Professionals Board of Ascend Justice. Cait received her B.A. from the University of Puget Sound, where she was a member of the swim team.

Andrew Farwell is a Vice President on the Services team for PPC. Andrew works with HeartLand and Highline Warren. Andrew initially joined PPC in 2020 as an Associate and re-joined in 2025 after business school. Prior to PPC, Andrew was an Investment Banking Analyst at Baird. Andrew received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Administrative Assistant

Kaz Frazier is an Administrative Assistant at PPC and assists in office reception, coordination, meetings, and projects. Kaz joined PPC in 2023. Prior to PPC, Kaz was a Community Manager Coordinator at Equilibria and worked as a Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist for Gage Marine, Pier 290, and Lake Geneva Cruise Line. Kaz received her B.A. from the University of Alabama.

Erica Friedman (Kosches) is a Senior Associate for PPC. Erica works with Highline Warren. Erica joined PPC in 2023 as an Associate. Prior to PPC, Erica was an investment banking Associate at William Blair and a consultant in Deloitte’s M&A group. Erica received her B.A. from Northwestern University.

David Gau is President and Head of Operations for PPC. David joined PPC in 2014 and previously served as Chief Operating Officer, an Operating Partner and Co-Head of the Manufactured Products sector team. David works with Aurorium, Bardstown Bourbon Company, C.H. Guenther & Son, HeartLand, Highline Warren, Monogram Foods, PathGroup, Plaskolite, PLZ, ProAmpac, and Technimark. David joined PPC after a 30-year career building and operating multi-national organizations. Prior to PPC, he served as CEO of Intersystems, a manufacturer of material handling equipment for agricultural and industrial applications. Previously, held leadership roles as EVP of Global Commercial Operations and Group President of Industrial Fluid Power for Gates Corp. and as President of Air System Components, a division of Tomkins. David received his B.S. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Operating Partner – Manufactured Products

Dwight Gibson is an Operating Partner – Manufactured Products for PPC. Dwight works with Americhem, Aurorium, Buckman, NAI Group, and Plaskolite. Dwight joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Dwight served as President and Chief Executive Officer of BlueLinx Corporation, a publicly traded Building Materials Distribution company. Prior to BlueLinx, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for SPX Flow Corporation and previously held a variety of senior management roles at Trane Technologies (formerly known as Ingersoll Rand). Dwight began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. He is also a Board member for Holcim, a publicly traded global producer of cement and aggregate products, and Interface Corporation, a publicly traded commercial flooring manufacturer. Dwight received his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, his M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and his B.B.A. from Howard University.

Vice President of Automation

Tim Giulianelli is Vice President of Automation for PPC.  Tim focuses on evaluating and implementing technology and automation systems manufacturing and production facilities across the PPC Companies. Tim joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Tim served as Senior Global Automation Engineer at Jabil Packaging Solutions (formerly Nypro), a Lead Process Engineer at Spectrum Control (now API technologies), and an Automation Engineer at Erie County Plastics. In addition, Tim honorably served six years in the United States Marine Corps. Tim received an A.S. from College of the Desert and holds multiple industrial PC/PLC process computer platform programming, lean manufacturing, and technical certifications.

Senior Associate

Parker Hewitt is a Senior Associate for PPC. Parker works with Kenco Logistics. Parker joined PPC in 2023 as an Associate. Prior to PPC, Parker was an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company. Parker received his B.S. from Indiana University.

Chief Financial Officer – Operations Group

David Hirsch is Chief Financial Officer – Operations Group for PPC. David focuses on accounting, finance, and reporting across the PPC Companies. David initially joined PPC (then PGPC) in 2013 as Vice President – Finance. Prior to PPC, David was a Transaction Services Manager at Crowe and a Senior Auditor at Deloitte. David received his M.A.S. and B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. David is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Vice President - Manufactured Products

Patrick Hodan is a Vice President on the Manufactured Products team for PPC. Patrick works with Aurorium, C.H. Guenther, and PLZ. Patrick initially joined PPC in 2020 as an Associate and re-joined in 2025 after business school. Prior to PPC, Patrick was an investment banking associate in the Services & Industrials Group at William Blair in Chicago. Patrick received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame where he was a four-time monogram winner as a member of the soccer team.

Kim Iheme is an Executive Assistant at PPC. Kim joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Kim was an Administrative Assistant at BDT & MSD Partners, a Brokerage Assistant at Jones Lang LaSalle, and held various client-facing roles at Marriott International. Kim received her B.A. from Southwest Minnesota State University.

Phil Iler is a Principal on the Manufactured Products team for PPC. Phil works with Bardstown Bourbon Company, C.H. Guenther, Monogram Foods, and Sugar Foods. Phil initially joined PPC in 2016 as an Associate and re-joined the Firm in 2020 after business school. Prior to PPC, Phil was an Investment Banking Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Phil received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University.

Michael Janis is an Associate for PPC. Michael joined PPC in 2025. Michael works with Aurorium and Lawley Insurance. Prior to PPC, Michael was an investment banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Michael received his B.A. from The University of Chicago, where he was a four-year member of the football team.

Kailash Jayaraman is an Associate for PPC. Kailash joined PPC in 2025. Kailash works with Buckman and Technimark. Prior to PPC, Kailash was an investment banking Analyst at Greenhill & Co. Kailash received his B.S.B.A. from Washington University.

Executive Assistant

Ning joined PPC in 2021 as an Executive Assistant and supports the Manufactured Products Team. Prior to joining PPC, Ning worked in the import and export industry as an Executive Assistant supporting multiple executives. In 2017, Ning also co-founded a restaurant in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. Prior to that she was an EA in CIPRUN Group, an IP Law firm in San Diego/Beijing.

Ning received her B.A. in Business Administration from Minzu University of China in Beijing.

Operating Partner - Services

Gregg is an Operating Partner at PPC leading the firm’s activities in the Services sector. Prior to joining PPC, Gregg most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Coinstar. In this role, Gregg oversaw both Redbox and Coinstar which represented billions in revenue. Prior to Coinstar, Gregg was the founder and CEO of Redbox DVD Rental which he built from incubation with just a few DVD kiosks in one market to over 20,000 kiosks across 48 states and hundreds of millions in revenue. Previously, Kaplan was senior director of corporate strategy and business development for McDonald’s Corporation.  He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the Economic Club of Chicago.  Additionally, Gregg is on the boards of Bright Pink, Modjule LLC, SwingKing and Enova.

Gregg received his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Matthew Kasper is Vice President – Operations & Strategic Finance for PPC. Matthew works with the PPC Companies to support the execution of strategic, financial, and operational value creation initiatives. Matthew joined PPC in 2020 as an Associate. Prior to PPC, Matthew was an investment banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets. Matthew received his B.S. from Indiana University.

Ben Keating is a Senior Associate for PPC. Ben works with Lawley and Technimark. Ben joined PPC in 2022 as an Associate. Prior to PPC, Ben was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs and an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. Ben received his M.S. and his B.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati.

Eric Kieras is an Investment Partner for PPC and co-leads the Firm’s Services team. Eric works with EDP, HeartLand, and Kenco Logistics. Eric joined PPC in 2020. Prior to PPC, Eric was a Managing Director at JZ Partners and previously an investment banker at P&M Corporate Finance. Eric received his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Senior Associate

Prior to joining PPC, Andrew was an investment professional at Main Street Capital Corporation, a multi-billion dollar Houston-based investment firm. While at Main Street, Andrew’s responsibilities included evaluating leveraged buyout opportunities, conducting due diligence across a wide array of industries and portfolio management.

Andrew received his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Dave is an Operating Partner at PPC leading the firm’s activities in the Healthcare sector.  Prior to joining PPC, Dave was most recently executive chairman and CEO of LabCorp (NYSE: LH).  Dave is a respected senior healthcare leader who operates with a strong emphasis on deeply understanding the healthcare industry, strategic planning, “playing the long game,” and staying ahead of rapidly evolving industry trends and challenges.  Under his leadership, LabCorp transformed from a pure-play U.S. testing laboratory into a leading global life sciences company — tripling in size through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, entering the Fortune 500, and being named to Fortune’s List of World’s Most Admired Companies. It is now the world’s largest clinical laboratory and second-largest drug development business.

 

Dave is the board chair of PATH, a nonprofit global health organization, and was appointed in 2017 to the advisory board for Duke University’s Robert J. Margolis, MD, Center for Health Policy. He previously served on the board of Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), a Fortune 20 healthcare company, Elon University and the American Clinical Laboratory Association, where he served as board chair from 2010 to 2014.  Dave is also on the board of The Emily K Center, a college-readiness center that Duke Men's Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski founded to prepare high school students in Durham, North Carolina for college and leadership.

Jen Klein is a Paralegal for PPC. Jen supports an array of legal aspects of PPC and PPC Company operations, including regulatory compliance, transaction execution, and other governance matters. Jen joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Jen held several roles operational support roles at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Jenner & Block LLP, Aon, and Bartlit Beck LLP. Jen completed the Paralegal Studies program at Webster University and received her B.S. from the University of Missouri.

Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships

Arielle (Ari) Kohn is a Coordinator on the Strategic Partnerships team for PPC. Ari joined PPC in 2025. Prior to PPC, Ari worked as a Client Services Manager at The Kaleidoscope Group, a human capital consulting firm. Ari received her B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Senior Event Coordinator

Erica Kolin joined PPC in 2013 as an Executive Assistant. In this role, she supported various members of the PPC team including Paul Carbone, President and Managing Partner. In 2017, Erica transitioned into the role of Senior Events Coordinator and manages all of the firm’s events. Erica serves as a member on the Shedd Aquarium Auxiliary Board and the Arlington Heights Junior Women’s Club.  

Erica received her B.S. in Public Health from the University of Kansas and her Master’s in Education from Roosevelt University with a concentration in Elementary and Special Education.

Keely Krugler is a Technology Project Manager for PPC and focuses on assisting with technology initiatives at the Firm as well as the PPC Companies. Keely joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Keely held various technology consulting roles at Accenture and Baker Tilly. Keely received her B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Tom Leverton is an Operating Partner for PPC and co-leads the Firm’s Services team. Tom works with EDP, HeartLand, Highline Warren, Kenco Logistics, Lawley, and Valicor. Tom joined PPC in 2020. Prior to PPC, Tom served as CEO of CEC Entertainment, the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza. Prior to CEC Entertainment, Tom served as CEO of Topgolf and as CEO of Omniflight. Previously, he held senior operating roles at FedEx Office and TXU Energy after starting his career as a consultant at Bain & Company. Tom received his M.B.A. from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and his BSME from Duke University.

Mike Manno is a Principal on the Services team for PPC. Mike works with EDP, HeartLand, Highline Warren, and PathGroup. Mike joined PPC in 2021. Prior to PPC, Mike was Vice President at Flexpoint Ford, an Associate at Genstar Capital, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Baird. Mike received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame.

Connor Marks is an IT Support Specialist for PPC and focuses on supporting day-to-day technology and IT needs. Connor joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Connor provided executive IT support at Ferrara Candy Company. Connor received his B.A. from the University of Iowa.

Paulina Michael is a Receptionist for PPC and assists in office coordination, meetings, and projects. Paulina joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Paulina worked in administrative roles at a law firm, nonprofit organization, and for a private family. Paulina received her B.A. from DePaul University.

Prior to joining PPC, Shelby was an investment banking analyst in the Healthcare Group at Jefferies in New York. While at Jefferies, Shelby provided analytical support on mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, financings and other financial advisory services.

Michael Nelson is the Managing Partner and Head of Investing for PPC. Michael joined PPC in 2012 and previously served as an Investment Partner and Co-Head of the Manufactured Products sector team. Michael works with Aurorium, Energy Distribution Partners, Highline Warren, Kenco Logistics, NAI Group, Technimark, and Valicor. Prior to PPC, Michael was a Managing Director at Wind Point Partners, a private equity investment firm based in Chicago, where he led investments in specialty manufacturing and packaging and served on the boards of seven different portfolio companies. Prior to Wind Point, Michael co-founded and served as Vice President of Finance for Esurg Corporation, a private equity-backed distributor of medical and pharmaceutical supplies. Previously, Michael spent four years in investment banking with Vector Securities. Michael serves on the board of the Chicago Jesuit Academy, which provides a full-scholarship college prep educational opportunity for economically disadvantaged youth in Chicago. Michael received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Stephanie Paine, Partner, is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for PPC. Stephanie is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, tax, fund management, human resources, and IT functions.  Stephanie joined PPC in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to PPC, Stephanie held operations and accounting roles at various private equity, venture capital and hedge fund managers, including Healthbox Global Partners, Conversus Asset Management, Adams Street Partners, and Maverick Capital. She began her career as an auditor at PwC. Stephanie received her M.A. and B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Legal & Compliance Associate

Lana Passarelli is a Legal & Compliance Associate for PPC. Lana joined PPC in 2024 and assists with legal and regulatory compliance matters. Prior to PPC, Lana held positions in legal and operational capacities at GEM Realty Capital, Sterling Bay, and Green Courte Partners. Lana received a B.S. from Roosevelt University and a Corporate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Loyola University Chicago.

Senior Associate

Prior to joining PPC, Caleb was an investment banking associate in the Global Industrials Group at Citi in New York. While at Citi, Caleb provided support on financings, mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and other financial advisory services. Prior to joining Citi, Caleb spent 12 years in the U.S. Air Force as a B-52 and MQ-9 pilot, Air Liaison Officer in Afghanistan and member of the U.S. Bobsled Team.

Caleb received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy where he was a four-time track and field letter winner. He also received his M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University.

Casey Perz is an Associate on the Partner Relations and Marketing team for PPC and focuses on developing information tracking systems, firm-wide marketing materials, PR initiatives, and other communications. Casey joined PPC in 2023. Prior to PPC, Casey was a Marketing Analyst at GCM Grosvenor. Casey received her B.A. from Indiana University.

Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Petri is the Chief Financial Officer for PPC.  Andrew joined PPC in 2025 and leads the firm’s efforts in accounting, financial reporting, tax, fund operations and administration.  Prior to PPC, Andrew was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Pfingsten Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm in Chicago, and an auditor at Ernst & Young.  Andrew also serves on the board of the Midwest Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association.  Andrew received his B.B.A. and a MACC from University of Wisconsin and is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Kayley Pitman is an Events Manager for PPC. Kayley joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Kayley was a Meeting and Event Specialist at Tempus Labs, Inc. Previously, she was an Events Coordinator at SmithBucklin. Kayley received her B.S. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Tony Pritzker is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PPC, where he has spent over twenty years as an active investor and board member in middle-market companies across the manufactured products and business services segments. Tony works with Bardstown Bourbon Company, C.H. Guenther & Son, Kenco Logistics, PLZ, and ProAmpac. Tony’s operating experience includes serving as Chairman of AmSafe Partners, a manufacturer of aircraft seating restraints; President of Baker Tanks, a national tank and pump equipment rental business; and a variety of leadership roles at Marmon Group, where he served as a Group Executive. Tony supports a variety of causes and campaigns and currently serves as a Director or Board Member of the following institutions: Anthony Pritzker Family Foundation, International Medical Corps, Pritzker Family Foundation, the UCLA Institute for Carbon Management, and the US Olympic and Paralympic Foundation. For his stewardship, Tony has received honors from UCLA Neurosurgery, Friends of Sheba Medical Center in Israel, Young Presidents’ Organization, and the American Jewish University’s Brandeis Bardin Institute. Tony received his M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. from Dartmouth College.

Patrick joined PPC as a Legal Associate in 2019. He assists with a wide range of compliance and legal functions spanning regulatory filings, state and federal reporting, due diligence, and legal drafting. During law school, Patrick completed a series of corporate courses and worked with an emerging SEC registered investment advisor on a litany of legal and regulatory tasks.

Ryan is an Investment Partner at PPC leading the firms’ Services sector investing. Prior to joining PPC, Ryan was a Director at Madison Dearborn Capital Partners, a multi-billion dollar Chicago-based firm. Ryan focused on investments in business services as well as technology, media and telecommunications services and served on the boards of six different portfolio companies during his ten years with the firm. Prior to Madison Dearborn, Ryan was an Associate at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a multi-billion dollar New York-based private equity firm. Ryan also previously worked for Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (now Metalmark Capital).

Ryan received an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Miguel Roman is the Accounts Payable Clerk for PPC and oversees invoicing, cash reconciliation, and the billing database. Miguel joined PPC in 2022. Sathya Shanthakumar joined PPC in 2018 as Head of Marketing and Investor Relations. Prior to joining PPC, Sathya spent four years as a Vice President of Investor Relations at Vista Equity Partners, a multi-billion dollar technology focused investment firm.  While at Vista Equity Partners, she was responsible for raising capital and managing relationships with investors across private equity and credit strategies. Prior to Vista Equity Partners, Sathya spent over six years at Silver Lake, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm focused on technology, where she assisted with fund marketing and investor relations for all the firm’s strategies.

Sathya received her M.B.A. from San Jose State University and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Central Michigan University.

Anish Sharan is Head of Digital Transformation for PPC. Anish focuses on spearheading digital strategy and operational improvement activities across the Firm and the PPC Companies. Anish joined PPC in 2022 and brings over 20 years of experience in digital innovation, process optimization, and platform modernization. Prior to PPC, Anish served as the Director of Business Improvement at CME Group and previously held various senior operational roles across digital and technology companies such as Nielsen, Leo Burnett, and Motorola. Anish received his M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, his M.S. from Michigan State University, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Sarah Simao is an Executive Assistant for PPC. Sarah joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Sarah was a Project Manager at Edelman and an Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator at Canivello, a talent agency in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sarah received her B.A. from Columbia College Chicago and a Postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil.

Meghan Slentz joined PPC in 2020 as Head of Partner Relations and Marketing. She brings a decade of experience in developing and managing relations with investor partners and promoting marketplace awareness for the organizations she has served. Prior to joining PPC, Meghan served as Director of Investor Relations at Waud Capital and as Manager of Investor Relations for Madison Dearborn Partners. Prior to Madison Dearborn Partners, she spent time in marketing and investor relations roles at Pantheon and at Credit Suisse's Private Fund Group.

Bradley Smith is a Tax Director for PPC and is responsible for tax planning and compliance matters. Bradley joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Bradley was a Senior Manager at KPMG. Bradley received his M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, his M.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, and his B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University. Bradley is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois.

Brennan Smith is an Associate for PPC. Brennan works with C.H. Guenther and NAI Group. Brennan joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Brennan was an investment banking Analyst and Associate at Bank of America in the Leveraged Finance Group. Brennan received his B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

Fund Controller

Renee Stock is a Fund Controller for PPC and is responsible for overseeing the fund financial reporting process. Renee joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Renee was a Senior Manager, Audit and provided ESG consulting and assurance services at Grant Thornton. Previously, Renee worked on the external financial reporting team of a Fortune 50 healthcare company. She began her career at PwC. Renee received her M.S. and B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Renee is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois.

Vice President - Healthcare

Charles is a Vice President at PPC focused on the firm's investing activities in the Healthcare sector. He originally joined the firm in 2016. Prior to PPC, Charles was an investment professional at Alpine Investors, a multi-billion middle-market private equity firm based in San Francisco. While at Alpine, Charles was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in the healthcare and technology sectors.

Prior to joining PPC, Marisa was an investment banking senior associate in the Global Industrials Group at Citi in New York, covering clients in the transportation and services sectors. Brad West, Partner, is Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for PPC. Brad oversees the Firm’s internal operations and is responsible for administering PPC’s legal, risk management and regulatory compliance programs. Brad initially joined PPC (then PGPC) in 2014 as Vice President – Legal. Prior to PPC, Brad worked in the private equity, finance, and transactions practice of Vedder Price, P.C. and in the corporate and securities group at Mayer Brown LLP. Brad received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Prior to joining PPC, Sandra was an investment banking analyst in the Global Healthcare Group at Lincoln International in Chicago. While at Lincoln, Sandra provided support on mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, financings and other financial advisory services.

Silvia Yim is a Vice President of Human Resources for PPC. Silvia joined PPC in 2018 as a Human Resources Manager. Prior to PPC, Silvia held several roles in the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources space. David Gau is President and Head of Operations for PPC. David joined PPC in 2014 and previously served as Chief Operating Officer, an Operating Partner and Co-Head of the Manufactured Products sector team. David works with Aurorium, Bardstown Bourbon Company, C.H. Guenther & Son, HeartLand, Highline Warren, Monogram Foods, PathGroup, Plaskolite, PLZ, ProAmpac, and Technimark. David joined PPC after a 30-year career building and operating multi-national organizations. Prior to PPC, he served as CEO of Intersystems, a manufacturer of material handling equipment for agricultural and industrial applications. Prior to PPC, Michael was a Managing Director at Wind Point Partners, a private equity investment firm based in Chicago, where he led investments in specialty manufacturing and packaging and served on the boards of seven different portfolio companies. Prior to Wind Point, Michael co-founded and served as Vice President of Finance for Esurg Corporation, a private equity-backed distributor of medical and pharmaceutical supplies. Previously, Michael spent four years in investment banking with Vector Securities. Michael serves on the board of the Chicago Jesuit Academy, which provides a full-scholarship college prep educational opportunity for economically disadvantaged youth in Chicago. Michael received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Tony’s operating experience includes serving as Chairman of AmSafe Partners, a manufacturer of aircraft seating restraints; President of Baker Tanks, a national tank and pump equipment rental business; and a variety of leadership roles at Marmon Group, where he served as a Group Executive. Tony supports a variety of causes and campaigns and currently serves as a Director or Board Member of the following institutions: Anthony Pritzker Family Foundation, International Medical Corps, Pritzker Family Foundation, the UCLA Institute for Carbon Management, and the US Olympic and Paralympic Foundation. For his stewardship, Tony has received honors from UCLA Neurosurgery, Friends of Sheba Medical Center in Israel, Young Presidents’ Organization, and the American Jewish University’s Brandeis Bardin Institute. Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Chris was a Partner at McKinsey & Company after serving as President & CEO of Whitlock Packaging Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Guinness Brewing Worldwide and The NutraSweet Company after starting his career at Boston Consulting Group. Carter Cast is an Operating Partner for PPC and works across the PPC Companies on commercial excellence activities that drive primary demand. Carter joined PPC in 2023 after having served as a Senior Advisor to the Firm for many years. Carter concurrently serves as the Michael S. and Mary Sue Shannon Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He is also a member of the board of directors for the global snacking company Kellanova (NYSE: K). Prior to his teaching career, Carter launched and served as CEO of Walmart.com and was part of the launch team for Blue Nile, Inc., an online seller of diamonds and fine jewelry. Earlier in his career, Carter spent over a decade at PepsiCo Inc. where he ran the corn chip and salsa categories for Frito Lay, Inc.  Carter received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.A. from Stanford University.

Prior to PPC, Rebecca founded and served as Managing Principal of Cycle Communications, a specialty consulting group focused on investor relations and communications development initiatives for private equity firms and investors. Previously, Rebecca began her career and spent 17 years with Wind Point Partners, where she was ultimately the Director of Investor Relations, Marketing, and Communications. Prior to PPC, Dwight served as President and Chief Executive Officer of BlueLinx Corporation, a publicly traded Building Materials Distribution company. Prior to BlueLinx, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for SPX Flow Corporation and previously held a variety of senior management roles at Trane Technologies (formerly known as Ingersoll Rand). Dwight began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. He is also a Board member for Holcim, a publicly traded global producer of cement and aggregate products, and Interface Corporation, a publicly traded commercial flooring manufacturer. Dwight received his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, his M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and his B.B.A. from Howard University.

Stephanie is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, tax, fund management, human resources, and IT functions.  Stephanie joined PPC in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to PPC, Stephanie held operations and accounting roles at various private equity, venture capital and hedge fund managers, including Healthbox Global Partners, Conversus Asset Management, Adams Street Partners, and Maverick Capital. Chris Brickman is an Operating Partner for PPC and co-leads the Firm’s Manufactured Products team. Chris works with Bardstown Bourbon Company, C.H. Guenther, Monogram Foods, and Sugar Foods. Chris joined PPC in 2023. Prior to PPC, Chris served as President and CEO of Sally Beauty Holdings. Previously, Chris held several senior positions at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, including President – International Consumer, President – Kimberly-Clark Professional, and Senior Vice President of Strategy. Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Chris was a Partner at McKinsey & Company after serving as President & CEO of Whitlock Packaging Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Guinness Brewing Worldwide and The NutraSweet Company after starting his career at Boston Consulting Group. Chris received his B.A. from Occidental College.

Jeff Carlson is Head of Technology for PPC and oversees PPC’s IT team and provides strategic and tactical guidance as well as develops cross-collaboration across the IT professionals at the PPC Companies. Jeff joined PPC in 2020 after previously having served as Director of Information Technology at Pritzker Group since 2014. Prior to PPC/Pritzker Group, Jeff was a Vice President of Information Technology at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, a Vice President at Bank of America, and a Senior Developer at Vista Software Solutions (now JDA Software). Jeff received his M.S. and B.S. from Northern Illinois University.

Operating Partner – Commercial

Carter Cast is an Operating Partner for PPC and works across the PPC Companies on commercial excellence activities that drive primary demand. Carter joined PPC in 2023 after having served as a Senior Advisor to the Firm for many years. Carter concurrently serves as the Michael S. and Mary Sue Shannon Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He is also a member of the board of directors for the global snacking company Kellanova (NYSE: K). Prior to his teaching career, Carter launched and served as CEO of Walmart.com and was part of the launch team for Blue Nile, Inc., an online seller of diamonds and fine jewelry. Earlier in his career, Carter spent over a decade at PepsiCo Inc. where he ran the corn chip and salsa categories for Frito Lay, Inc.  Carter received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.A. from Stanford University.

Vice President – Operations Management

Alex Dexeus is a Vice President of Operations Management for PPC. Alex works across the Family of Companies on acquisition integrations, project management, and operational improvement initiatives. Prior to PPC, Alex attended business school and was an intern with Plaskolite as Finance Project Manager. Prior to business school, Alex worked at ExxonMobil where he served as a Project Manager for major chemical plant expansion projects and as a Product Manager for ExxonMobil’s specialty chemicals business. Alex received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, his B.S. in Engineering from Purdue University, and is an actively licensed Professional Engineer.

Amanda Essay is Vice President – Financial Performance for PPC. Amanda works with PPC and across the PPC Companies on accounting, finance, and reporting matters. Amanda joined PPC in 2018 as Finance Manager. Prior to PPC, Amanda was a Transaction Services Senior Associate and Associate at PwC’s capital markets and accounting advisory group. Amanda received her M.S. and her B.A. from Vanderbilt University, where she was a four-time monogram winner as a member of the soccer team. Amanda is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois.

David joined PPC in 2014 and previously served as Chief Operating Officer, an Operating Partner and Co-Head of the Manufactured Products sector team. David works with Aurorium, Bardstown Bourbon Company, C.H. Guenther & Son, HeartLand, Highline Warren, Monogram Foods, PathGroup, Plaskolite, PLZ, ProAmpac, and Technimark. David joined PPC after a 30-year career building and operating multi-national organizations. Prior to PPC, he served as CEO of Intersystems, a manufacturer of material handling equipment for agricultural and industrial applications. Previously, held leadership roles as EVP of Global Commercial Operations and Group President of Industrial Fluid Power for Gates Corp. and as President of Air System Components, a division of Tomkins. David received his B.S. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Dwight Gibson is an Operating Partner – Manufactured Products for PPC. Dwight works with Americhem, Aurorium, Buckman, NAI Group, and Plaskolite. Dwight joined PPC in 2024. Prior to PPC, Dwight served as President and Chief Executive Officer of BlueLinx Corporation, a publicly traded Building Materials Distribution company. Prior to BlueLinx, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for SPX Flow Corporation and previously held a variety of senior management roles at Trane Technologies (formerly known as Ingersoll Rand). Dwight began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. He is also a Board member for Holcim, a publicly traded global producer of cement and aggregate products, and Interface Corporation, a publicly traded commercial flooring manufacturer. Dwight received his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, his M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and his B.B.A. from Howard University.

Vice President of Automation

Tim Giulianelli is Vice President of Automation for PPC.  Tim focuses on evaluating and implementing technology and automation systems manufacturing and production facilities across the PPC Companies. Tim joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Tim served as Senior Global Automation Engineer at Jabil Packaging Solutions (formerly Nypro), a Lead Process Engineer at Spectrum Control (now API technologies), and an Automation Engineer at Erie County Plastics. In addition, Tim honorably served six years in the United States Marine Corps. Tim received an A.S. from College of the Desert and holds multiple industrial PC/PLC process computer platform programming, lean manufacturing, and technical certifications.

David Hirsch is Chief Financial Officer – Operations Group for PPC. David focuses on accounting, finance, and reporting across the PPC Companies. David initially joined PPC (then PGPC) in 2013 as Vice President – Finance. Prior to PPC, David was a Transaction Services Manager at Crowe and a Senior Auditor at Deloitte. David received his M.A.S. and B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. David is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Tom Leverton is an Operating Partner for PPC and co-leads the Firm’s Services team. Tom works with EDP, HeartLand, Highline Warren, Kenco Logistics, Lawley, and Valicor. Tom joined PPC in 2020. Prior to PPC, Tom served as CEO of CEC Entertainment, the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza. Prior to CEC Entertainment, Tom served as CEO of Topgolf and as CEO of Omniflight. Previously, he held senior operating roles at FedEx Office and TXU Energy after starting his career as a consultant at Bain & Company. Anish Sharan is Head of Digital Transformation for PPC. Anish focuses on spearheading digital strategy and operational improvement activities across the Firm and the PPC Companies. Anish joined PPC in 2022 and brings over 20 years of experience in digital innovation, process optimization, and platform modernization. Prior to PPC, Anish served as the Director of Business Improvement at CME Group and previously held various senior operational roles across digital and technology companies such as Nielsen, Leo Burnett, and Motorola. Chris Brannan serves as the Assistant General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Officer for PPC. As Assistant General Counsel, Chris works with PPC and the PPC Companies on regulatory compliance, transaction execution, and various other legal matters. As ESG Officer, Chris manages PPC’s communications and tracking programs related to ESG and works with the Firm and the PPC Companies to further ESG efforts and initiatives. Chris joined PPC in 2017 as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to PPC, Chris was an attorney in the M&A practices at Winston & Strawn LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP.  Prior to law school, Chris was a Tax/Assurance Associate at PwC, where he received his CPA license (inactive). Rebecca Converse, Partner, is the Head of Global Strategic Partnerships for PPC. Prior to PPC, Rebecca founded and served as Managing Principal of Cycle Communications, a specialty consulting group focused on investor relations and communications development initiatives for private equity firms and investors. Previously, Rebecca began her career and spent 17 years with Wind Point Partners, where she was ultimately the Director of Investor Relations, Marketing, and Communications. Andrew Petri is the Chief Financial Officer for PPC.  Andrew joined PPC in 2025 and leads the firm’s efforts in accounting, financial reporting, tax, fund operations and administration.  Prior to PPC, Andrew was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Pfingsten Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm in Chicago, and an auditor at Ernst & Young.  Andrew also serves on the board of the Midwest Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association.  Andrew received his B.B.A. and a MACC from University of Wisconsin and is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Renee Stock is a Fund Controller for PPC and is responsible for overseeing the fund financial reporting process. Renee joined PPC in 2022. Prior to PPC, Renee was a Senior Manager, Audit and provided ESG consulting and assurance services at Grant Thornton. Previously, Renee worked on the external financial reporting team of a Fortune 50 healthcare company. She began her career at PwC. Renee received her M.S. and B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Renee is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois.

Brad West, Partner, is Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for PPC. Prior to PPC, Brad worked in the private equity, finance, and transactions practice of Vedder Price, P.C. and in the corporate and securities group at Mayer Brown LLP. Silvia Yim is a Vice President of Human Resources for PPC. Silvia oversees all human resources functions internally and helps drive and support talent efforts at PPC and across the family of companies, including talent acquisition, assessment, and driving strategic initiatives. Silvia joined PPC in 2018 as a Human Resources Manager. Prior to PPC, Silvia held several roles in the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources space. Ruby Chandy is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. Ruby was formerly President of the Industrial Division of Pall Corporation. Earlier in her career, Ruby held various leadership roles at Dow Chemical, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Boston Scientific, and Millipore. Ruby currently serves on boards related to Ametek, DuPont, Flowserve Corporations, and MIT Sloan School. Ruby is a Mentor-in-Residence for University of Pennsylvania PCI Ventures. She was previously on boards related to Idex Corporation, Infiltrator Water Technologies, Gryphon Investors, and Unicef New England. Matt Cook is the former CEO of LBP Manufacturing, a PPC company.  Under his leadership over 20 years, the company expanded manufacturing products and services around the globe.   LBP services a broad range of clients with fiber-based and sustainable foodservice packaging.  Companies such as McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks seek differentiation, innovation and sustainability in their packaging portfolios.


He is extremely passionate about the outdoors and conservation.  He was previously Chairman of the Board of the Veterans Outdoor Fund (www.veteransoutdoorfund.org) which enables wounded veterans to start the healing process through outdoor activities.  He is currently a board member of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (www.trcp.org). 

Matt has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri.

J. Phillip Holloman is the former President and Chief Operating Officer of Cintas. Phillip spent 22 years with Cintas and held many positions including Vice President of Engineering/Construction, Vice President of Distribution/Production Planning, Executive Champion of Six Sigma Initiatives, Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management, Rental Division President & COO and President & COO. Phillip is a founding member of Cintas’ Diversity Committee and received the Excalibur Award, the company’s highest award reserved for business executives who demonstrate excellence during their tenure.


Phillip has served as a board member on several company, educational and civic organizational boards.  He is currently serving on the board of Rockwell Automation, a public company providing industrial automation and information technology.  He also sits on the board of the University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees and The Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio.


Phillip received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Michael Lamach is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. Mike formerly served as Executive Chair and CEO at Trane Technologies. Trane Technologies launched in 2020 upon the completion of a strategic transaction that created two companies – Trane Technologies and Ingersoll Rand. He also held the positions of President and COO. Earlier in his career, Mike held various leadership roles at Ingersoll Rand and Johnson Controls, including group Vice President and Managing Director for the European, Asian, South African, and South American businesses of Johnson Controls’ Automotive Group. Mike currently serves on boards related to PPG Industries and Nucor Steel. He is the Chair of the Charlotte Executive Leadership Council, co-Chairs the Charlotte Mayor’s Racial Equity Initiative, and serves as Trustee for Johnson C. Smith University. Mike was previously the Chair of the National Association of Manufacturers. Mike received a BS in Engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from Duke University.

Alan Muney previously served as Cigna’s Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Total Health and Network.  In his role as Chief Medical Officer, Alan was responsible for Cigna’s clinical strategy and policy, health advocacy programs, coverage policy, and quality measurement and improvement.  As lead for Total Health and Network, Alan was responsible for the market medical and clinical nurse executives, total health physician operations, total health clinical operations, dental clinical operations, as well as medical, behavioral and dental contracting.  Alan also oversaw Cigna’s team of doctors, dentists, nurses and behavioral health clinicians involved in the company’s health management and wellness programs. 

Before joining Cigna, Alan was an Executive Director in the Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group, and the CEO of Equity Healthcare, which he founded to manage the healthcare costs of Blackstone’s portfolio companies.  While at Blackstone, he also served on the Board of Directors of Vanguard Health System and Team Health.  Prior to Blackstone, Alan was the executive vice president and chief medical officer of Oxford Health Plans and chief medical officer of United Healthcare of the Northeast region from 1998-2007.  Prior to that, he was senior vice president and chief medical officer for Avanti Health systems, a division of NYLCare health plans.  He was also regional medical director for Mullikin Medical Centers, a large multi-specialty medical group in California.  He is also a frequent lecturer on issues in managed health care.

Board-certified in pediatrics, Alan received his B.S. in Biology and his Doctor of Medicine degrees from Brown University, and a Master in Health Administration from the University of La Verne.

Stephen Newlin is a member of PPC Advisory Board. Steve formerly served as Chairman and CEO of Univar Solutions. Earlier in his career, Steve held various leadership roles at PolyOne Corporation, Ecolab Incorporated, and Nalco Chemical Company. Steve currently serves on boards related to Univar Solutions and Hexion. He is the Chairman of the Oshkosh Corporation. Steve also served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. Steve received a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an honorary Doctorate of Public Service from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. He completed the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.

Doug Oberhelman is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. Doug formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Caterpillar Inc. He also held the positions of Vice President and CFO. Earlier in his career, Doug held multiple leadership roles at Caterpillar Inc and lived in various cities across North America, South America, and Asia during his tenure. Doug currently serves on boards related to Exxon Mobil Corporation, Peter Kiewit Sons’, Inc., and Bombardier Inc. He also serves as Vice President of the Wetlands America Trust, a Director on boards related to Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation and Intersect Illinois, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Easter Seals Foundation of Central Illinois. Doug was previously the Chair of the Business Roundtable and the National Association of Manufacturers and also served on the boards of Eli Lilly and Company and Ameren Corporation. Manny Perez de la Mesa is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. Manny was formerly CEO of Pool Corp. and now remains involved as Vice Chairman. Over the course of his 20-year management tenure, Pool Corp became a worldwide supplier of swimming pool equipment, parts, and supplies. He also held the positions of President and COO. Earlier in his career, Manny held various leadership roles IBM, Fresh Del Monte Produce, and Watsco. Manny currently serves on boards related to Pool Corp., Advanced Drainage Systems, Reece USA, US LBM, ORS Medco, and Imperial Dade. He was previously Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors and on the Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Paula Brown Stafford is a biopharmaceutical executive and leadership consultant with more than 35 years of industry experience.  She is currently Chairman and CEO of Novan (Nasdaq: NOVN), an innovative biotechnology company and a leader in developing nitric oxide-based therapies for dermatological, women’s health and infectious diseases.  Paula previously led the clinical development operations division of Quintiles (now IQVIA), one of the world’s largest contract research organizations (CRO).  At Quintiles, she oversaw a division that delivered approximately $3 billion of annual revenue, with 22,000 employees across 60 countries.

Paula serves on the Board of Health Decisions, Inc. and is emeritus member of the Public Health Foundation Board of the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Public Health.  She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Health, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

David Steiner is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. He was formerly CEO and President of Waste Management. He also held the positions of CFO, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and Deputy General Counsel. Earlier in his career, David practiced law at Phelps Dunbar, Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher and Jones Walker. David currently serves on boards related to FedEx and Vulcan Materials. He also serves on a number of non-profit and educational boards, including the EJ Ourso School of Business at LSU. David received a BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University and a JD from the UCLA School of Law.

Dale Tremblay is a member of the PPC Advisory Board. Dale was formerly the CEO of C.H. Guenther & Son (CHG) and now remains involved as Executive Chairman. Earlier in his career, Dale held various leadership roles at The Quaker Oats Co., Sara Lee Corp., and R.R. Donnelley and Sons Inc. Dale currently serves on boards related to Texas Capital Bank, Monogram Foods, Nature Sweet Tomatoes Ltd., Haven for Hope, and Opera San Antonio. Rob is a seasoned executive with 38 years of operating and financial experience focused on the healthcare services sector. Prior to Coram, Rob held leadership roles at Titan Health Corporation and American Medical Response driving operational, financial, revenue cycle and strategic growth. Rob has also consulted in the behavioral health sector and currently sits on the board of Oceans Healthcare, an operator of hospitals in the Southeast.

Lee Applbaum is a PPC Executive Advisor to Bardstown Bourbon Company. Lee also currently serves as CMO for Wheels Up. Lee was formerly CMO for Patrón Spirits at Bacardi Global Brands. He was instrumental in Patron Spirits’ growth into a global, ultra-premium tequila and assisted in its $5.1B sale to Bacardi Limited in 2018. Earlier in his career, Lee held various leadership roles at Surterra Wellness, Target Australia, RadioShack, Schottenstein Stores Corporation, David’s Bridal, Footstar Athletic, and Schlotzsky's. Jamie currently serves as a technology consultant for Baird Capital, where he assists with investment strategy and portfolio operations.  Previously, Jamie was the Vice President of Advanced Technology for Cleversafe, an industry-leading object-based storage provider that houses the world’s largest data repositories.  Prior to joining Cleversafe, Jamie was a regional principal and national director for Lante Corporation, a publicly traded software and technology consultancy that acquired his internet design and development company, ingenious, inc., in 1999.

Jamie received his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Barry Beyer is a PPC Executive Advisor and Founder of Pathfinder Consulting LLC. Barry was formerly a site manager at Koyo Bearings USA. In this role, he drove improvement in labor performance, machine uptime, product quality, and employee satisfaction. In Koyo’s fast paced environment, he also encouraged his team to “work up a level,” which helped to permanently solve problems and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor. Barry studied and taught FMDS (Floor Management Development System) to his team at Koyo, which was utilized as the central system for daily management, allowing his plant to prosper in the razor-thin margins of a high-volume automotive parts supplier. Earlier in his career, Barry held various leadership roles at Intersystems and Modine Manufacturing Company. Barry received a BS in Engineering from Purdue University.

Paul Carbone is Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of PPC. In 2012, Paul joined PPC’s predecessor company and later PPC as Managing Partner and led the Firm’s growth and development for more than ten years. Prior to PPC, Paul was the Director and Managing Partner of Robert W. Baird & Co.’s Private Equity Group (a buyout, growth and venture investor) after serving as Co‐Director of Investment Banking responsible for Robert W. Baird & Co.’s Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory practice. Previously, Paul was Senior Vice President in the Investment Banking Group at Kidder, Peabody & Co.

In 2016, Paul received the Stanley C. Golder Award from the Illinois Venture Capital Association in recognition of his contributions to the private equity industry in Illinois. Paul has served as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year regional judge as well as national judge for the Family Business category. In 2020 and 2022, Family Capital magazine named Paul one of the Top 100 most influential people among family investors and family enterprises. In 2024, Paul was named to Family Capital magazine’s FamCap 50 as one of the top investors in the world of family capital.

Ruby Chandy was formerly President of the $1.3B Industrial Division of Pall Corporation.  Earlier in her career, Ruby held general management positions at Dow Chemical, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Boston Scientific, and Millipore. She also served as Chief Marketing Officer at Dow Chemical and Thermo Fisher Scientific. 

Ruby currently serves on the boards of Ametek, DuPont, and Flowserve Corporations and was previously on the board of Idex Corporation from 2006-2013.  Ruby served on the board of Infiltrator Water Technologies, a portfolio company of Ontario Teachers Private Capital and on the Executive Advisory Board of Gryphon Investors, a private equity firm based in San Francisco. From 2007 to 2011, he was the President & CEO of GSI, a global agricultural equipment and systems company that was acquired by AGCO in 2011. Previously, Scott held a variety of leadership roles at Danaher Corporation, a diversified manufacturing and technology company.

Charlie Crew is a PPC Executive Advisor to Americhem and Plaskolite. Charlie was formerly President and CEO of SABIC Innovative Plastics. Earlier in his career Charlie spent nearly 30 years at GE Plastics, holding senior leadership roles in commercial operations, managing global ventures and leading the company’s European operations. Healthcare Advisor

Michael is a Healthcare Advisor to PPC. Prior to joining PPC, Michael was a Managing Director at Blackstone Capital Partners, a multi-billion dollar private equity enterprise. During his tenure at Blackstone, Michael helped lead sourcing efforts in healthcare and insurance, investing billions of equity capital in 13 transactions. Michael also served on ten corporate boards, working with management teams to drive value through operational improvements, acquisitions and divestitures. Before joining Blackstone, Michael was an Associate at Hellman & Friedman where he was involved with the analysis and execution of private equity investments in the media and professional services sectors. Prior to that, Michael worked as a consultant at Bain & Company and also was a Research Associate at the China Center for Economic Research in Beijing, PR China as a Luce Scholar.

Jeff Davis brings 40 years of management experience currently serving as an advisor and board member of several industrial services companies. Mr. Davis is also a Development Partner for Stonecourt Capital focused on developing opportunities in the industrial services sector.  Mr. Davis was the Interim Chairman and CEO of Furmanite, after having served as a member of the Board and Executive Chairman.  Prior to joining Furmanite in 2015, Mr. Davis was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Brock Group, a leading global provider of specialty industrial services.  He joined The Brock Group in 1977 and held several senior management positions prior to his promotion to President in 2007 and Chief Executive Officer in 2008. Under Mr. Davis’ leadership, The Brock Group experienced significant growth by integrating multiple acquisitions, growing market share during the economic downturn, and maintaining its focus on safety, customer services, process driven solutions, and innovations.

Prior to Fiskars Brands, Bill spent 25 years with Newell Rubbermaid in senior executive roles including President Newell Industrial Companies, Vice President, Controller, Group President Housewares and Office Products, Group President Housewares, and President Rubbermaid Consumer Products. Bob Feury is a PPC Executive Advisor and Chief Culture and People Officer of CRH. Bob joined CRH in 1996 with the acquisition of his family’s business and was formerly CEO of Allied Building Products. After 22 years, a strategic decision was made to divest CRH’s distribution business, and Bob and his team lead the sale of Allied to Beacon Roofing Supply (now QXO), a public company, in January 2018. After a brief transition period with Beacon, Bob returned to CRH as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development for the Global Building Products business. John Fleming is a PPC Executive Advisor to Highline Warren. John was formerly interim CEO at rue21 and CEO of Global eCommerce at Uniqlo. Prior to rue21 and Uniqlo, John held a number of leadership positions at Walmart, including EVP - Chief Marketing Officer and EVP – Chief Merchandising Officer. Keith retired after a 41-year career at The Procter and Gamble Company. Most recently, Keith served as the Global Product Supply Officer and was responsible for company-wide supply chain activities including manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, logistics and quality.  Prior to his Global Supply Chain Officer role, Keith held positions in supply chain and business leadership in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Keith currently serves on the Board of several private companies including Midmark Corporation, Hayco Manufacturing and Enerfab.

Mr. Hendrickson serves as Senior Advisor to PLZ Aeroscience.  He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Valspar Corporation, a global paint and coatings manufacturer, from 2011 to 2017, and as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2008-2011.  

Gary held other senior leadership roles with Valspar, including eight years in Asia Pacific as President of the Asia Pacific division, and as Senior Vice President responsible for Valspar’s consumer paint division.  He retired from Valspar following its sale to Sherwin Williams in 2017.  Prior to joining Valspar Mr. Hendrickson served 11 Years in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer.

Mr. Hendrickson is currently the Chairman of The AZEK Company (NYSE:AZEK) a leading designer and manufacturer of sustainable outdoor living products.  He is also a board director for Polaris Industries (NYSE:PII), a global manufacturer of off-road and on-road vehicles, and Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) a leading specialty measurement company serving the life, materials and food sciences.  

Gary holds a BA degree from The University of Connecticut and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kevin Hunt is the former CEO and President of Ralcorp Holdings.  Through 30+ acquisitions and organic growth, Ralcorp became the largest private brand food company in North America, with $4.2 billion in sales.  Kevin served in various senior roles at Ralcorp beginning with its creation in 1994 as a spin-off of Ralston Purina.  Ralcorp was acquired by Conagra in January, 2013.  Prior to Ralcorp, Kevin was Director of Strategic Planning at Ralston Purina after serving in brand marketing roles.  He began his career in 1976 with American Home Products Corporation and held positions in both international and domestic marketing.

Steve Keogh serves as Senior Advisor to Lawley. He brings extensive insurance experience from his over 30-year career at Aon. Most recently, Steve served as a Senior Advisor to the President of Aon. Prior to that, he was President of the Commercial Risk Solutions division, Aon’s global risk management business providing risk advisory, risk transfer, and structured solutions to help clients identify, measure and manage their risk exposure. Steve held a variety of other roles in his time at Aon, including as President of the U.S. Commercial Risk and Health Solutions business and also gained experience across other functional disciplines such as director of operations, product management and human resources across the Americas region. Steve was instrumental in developing Aon’s people strategy, and is passionate about recruiting, retaining and growing a pipeline of talent.

Steve is a Director of the Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Foundation, which is the nation’s largest scholarship program for caddies. He is also an Evans Scholar alumnus, and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mohan is a seasoned executive with a successful track record of managing businesses within several Fortune 100 companies. He brings over 35 years of experience in P&L management, marketing, business strategy, acquisitions, start-ups, and off-shoring.

Mohan has held key leadership positions in both the emerging and developed markets. He has built and operated greenfield businesses in Brazil, India, China and Japan in addition to managing business units in the United States. Ken Lochiatto is a PPC Executive Advisor. Ken was formerly President and CEO of Convergint. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board at dormakaba, Executive Chairman at Nations Roofing, and a Trustee at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Ken received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Fred Loeffel is a PPC Executive Advisor to Kenco Group. Fred was formerly EVP Strategic Development at GEODIS, where he was responsible for the commercial efforts that supported the growth of GEODIS Americas from <$100M annual revenue in 1995 to more than $3.8B in gross revenue in 2022. He previously held various industry roles including as an officer in WERC and CSCMP, as an instructor at the IWLA advanced course, and as a member of the logistics steering committee for the Consumer Health and Protection Agency in Washington DC. Fred currently serves on a board related to QuickBox Fulfillment. Fred received a BBA Marketing and Transportation from the University of Memphis. Mike Lynch is a Senior Advisor to PPC, counseling the firm’s Healthcare companies. Prior to his Senior Advisor role, Mike was an Operating Partner, leading the firm’s operating activities in the Healthcare sector. Mike previously served as chief executive officer of Cardinal Health’s medical segment, a multi-billion dollar business with more than 15,000 employees in nine countries serving hospitals, clinics and other sites of care worldwide. Mike is a seasoned global executive with 28 years of strategic and operational experience in medical products manufacturing, sourcing and distribution. He held leadership roles in several Cardinal Health businesses, consistently growing them through acquisitions, alliances, organic revenue and operational improvements.

Stan McCarthy FCCA, served as Chief Executive of Kerry Group, a public company listed on the Dublin and London Stock Exchanges from January 2008 to end of September 2017.  In May 2017 he was appointed non-Executive Director of Ryanair Holdings Plc.

Prior to his appointment as Kerry Group Chief Executive, he was President and CEO of Kerry Ingredients Americas since 1996 and an Executive Director of Kerry Group since 1999. A native of County Kerry, Stan joined Kerry’s Graduate Recruitment Programme in Ireland in 1976 and worked in Finance until his appointment as Financial Controller in the USA on establishment of Kerry’s Representative Office in Chicago in 1984. He retired as Chief Executive of Kerry Group on 30 September 2017 and as a Director of the Group at year-end.

Kerry Group achieved sustained profitable growth and development under Stan McCarthy’s leadership. The Group is a world leader in Taste and Nutrition serving the food and beverage industries and a leading consumer foods processing and marketing organisation in selected EU markets. Mr. McDonnell works as a senior advisor to healthcare provider organizations to collaborate on commercial insurance and government payor reimbursement strategies and risk-based arrangements. This work is particularly relevant as payors migrate from traditional fee-for-service to value-based payment methods. Currently, his clients include various physician groups and outpatient providers, many of which are sponsored by private equity firms.

Prior to these engagements, Mr. McDonnell was a co-founding partner at SavvySherpa, Inc., a healthcare innovation firm, and an executive with UnitedHealth Group, serving as the President and CEO of UnitedHealth Networks and as General Counsel of UnitedHealthcare.

Joe Metzger is a PPC Executive Advisor to Sugar Foods and is also a lecturer at the University of Arkansas. Joe was formerly EVP, Supply Chain Operations at Walmart. Earlier in his career, Joe held various leadership roles at Kellogg Company and Kraft Foods. Joe currently serves on boards related to SureWerx, the National FFA Organization’s Executive Sponsors, and the Springfield, Missouri Area Chamber of Commerce. Joe received a BS in Dairy Science from South Dakota State University.

Jon is a Senior Advisor to PPC,  focusing on financial solutions and systems at the firm’s companies. He brings significant experience in analytics, technology and pricing excellence.  Jon is currently assisting as interim CFO at Highline Warren, North America’ premier distributor of automotive chemicals and products and a PPC company.  He was recently CFO of PLZ Aeroscience, a leading manufacturer of specialty brand and private label aerosol and liquid products.  Previously, he was CFO of Airsystems Components, a leading manufacturer of air distribution products for commercial, industrial and residential applications.  Jon began his career at several technology companies including senior finance positions at Nokia.

Jon earned an MBA from the University of Illinois.  He received a B.S. in accounting and a B.A in economics and history from Miami University (Ohio). He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Greg is currently the Chairman and CEO of STG Logistics. Previously, Greg held various senior executive roles including CEO of AIR-serv and COO of Browning Ferris Industries (BFI). Greg is also the Chairman of RailWorks and a Senior Advisor to Valicor.

Alan Muney previously served as Cigna’s Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Total Health and Network.  In his role as Chief Medical Officer, Alan was responsible for Cigna’s clinical strategy and policy, health advocacy programs, coverage policy, and quality measurement and improvement.  As lead for Total Health and Network, Alan was responsible for the market medical and clinical nurse executives, total health physician operations, total health clinical operations, dental clinical operations, as well as medical, behavioral and dental contracting.  Alan also oversaw Cigna’s team of doctors, dentists, nurses and behavioral health clinicians involved in the company’s health management and wellness programs. 

Before joining Cigna, Alan was an Executive Director in the Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group, and the CEO of Equity Healthcare, which he founded to manage the healthcare costs of Blackstone’s portfolio companies.  While at Blackstone, he also served on the Board of Directors of Vanguard Health System and Team Health.  Prior to Blackstone, Alan was the executive vice president and chief medical officer of Oxford Health Plans and chief medical officer of United Healthcare of the Northeast region from 1998-2007.  Prior to that, he was senior vice president and chief medical officer for Avanti Health systems, a division of NYLCare health plans.  He was also regional medical director for Mullikin Medical Centers, a large multi-specialty medical group in California.  He is also a frequent lecturer on issues in managed health care.

Board-certified in pediatrics, Alan received his B.S. in Biology and his Doctor of Medicine degrees from Brown University, and a Master in Health Administration from the University of La Verne.

Stephen Newlin is the former Chairman and CEO of Univar Solutions, a global chemical and ingredient distributor.  Previously, Steve served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of PolyOne Corporation from 2006-2014 and Executive Chairman of the Board until 2016.  Prior to PolyOne, Steve was President, Industrial Sector, at Ecolab Incorporated.  He also spent 24 years at Nalco Chemical Company in positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as President and Director of Nalco, and then President, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice Chairman.

Steve has served as a board member or director for many public companies, associations and civic organizations.  Currently, he serves on the board of Univar Solutions and Hexion.  He also currently serves as Chairman of the Oshkosh Corporation, a leading innovator of mission-critical vehicles and equipment.

Steve received a Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering and an honorary doctorate of public service from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.   He completed the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College, as well as Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.  He also served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service, earning an accelerated promotion.

Chris O’Brien is a PPC Executive Advisor and President of Armada Sunset Holdings. Stepping into the role of CEO at Armada in 2026, Chris is leading the unification of Armada’s operating companies into a single, integrated organization. He is focused on uniting strategy and execution to accelerate innovation, expand Armada’s presence in high-impact markets, and drive growth in supply chain and logistics services. Larry Oberkfell is a PPC Executive Advisor to CHG and is also a Partner at Kinetic12. Larry was formerly President and CEO of IFMA. Earlier in his career, Larry held various leadership roles at Schwan Food Company, Anchor Food Products, and GESD Capital. Larry previously served on a board related to the National Restaurant Association. He also was active in industry-related groups such as the GS-1 Executive Committee. Paul has founded, built and successfully sold several businesses including Paul Reilly Company of Illinois, a distributor material handling and waste handling equipment; Rytec Corporation, a manufacturer of high-performance doors for industrial, commercial and cold-storage environments; and R-Bac Industries, a manufacturer of high-speed industrial doors. Paul has also served as Chairman of Encore Discovery Solutions, provider of electronic and paper legal discovery solutions; CEO of D-Vision systems, a video editing software company; and CEO of Orbit Commerce, an e-commerce start-up.

Ceron is a Healthcare Advisor to PPC. Prior to joining PPC, Ceron was a Vice President at TPG Capital, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm based in San Francisco. While at TPG, Ceron was focused on investing across various segments of healthcare, including healthcare services, medical technologies and life sciences. Ceron previously held positions at The Blackstone Group, where he focused on healthcare private equity investments, and the healthcare investment banking division at Credit Suisse.

Ceron earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He also received his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Biological Sciences from Stanford University, where he was a Mayfield Fellow. Ceron has co-authored a number of publications in the field of healthcare including original scientific research and health economics articles.

Jonathan D. Rich, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Berry Global Group, Inc.  Dr. Rich served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for the Company from October 2010 until his retirement as CEO in February 2017.

Prior to becoming CEO, Dr. Rich served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Momentive Performance Materials, Inc. from June 2007 until October 2010.  Prior to Momentive, Dr. Rich held executive positions at Goodyear Tire and Rubber from 2000 until 2007, including President of Goodyear North American Tire and President of Goodyear Chemical.  Dr. Rich began his career at General Electric in 1982, where he was employed for 18 years in a variety of R&D, operational and executive roles.  Dr. Rich’s prior position as Chief Executive Officer for the Company, his extensive management experience and his skills in business leadership and strategy qualify him to serve as a director of the Company.

Dr. Rich has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry from Iowa State University, and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin.  He has been published in numerous journals and publications and is an inventor on 26 U.S. patents.

Mark Saleski is an independent operations executive and board member with 30 plus years of progressive management experience in transportation, waste processing (liquid, oil, solid, recycling, and medical), disposal (sanitary landfill) as well as other industrial and commercial service businesses.

Most recently Mark was the Vice President of Operations with Liquid Environmental Solutions, a position held from 2010 to 2015. In this role, Mark’s responsibilities included day-to-day management of all operations that included 32 transportation operations and 14 wastewater treatment facilities. Responsibilities also included corporate safety and compliance, fleet management and procurement, routing and logistics, and customer call center.

Prior to Liquid Environmental Solutions, Mark held leadership positions at several companies including serving as EVP and COO of AIR-serv Group, District Manager at Allied Waste Industries, Finance Manager at GE, and Corporate VP at Browning Ferris (BFI), which was the second largest solid waste company in the United States.
Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors of LJP Waste Solutions and as a Senior Advisor for Valicor.

Healthcare Advisor

Apurva is a Healthcare Advisor to PPC. Prior to joining PPC, Apurva was an Associate at CIT Group. While at CIT, Apurva provided analytical support for the financing of leveraged buyouts across the middle-market healthcare industry.

Apurva received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.

Terry serves as a Senior Advisor to PPC and was previously an Operating Partner at PPC, leading the firm’s activities in the Manufactured Products sector. Terry has more than 25 years of executive experience in refining, specialty chemicals, plastics, process automation and steel.  Prior to joining PPC, Terry was an Executive Advisor and member of the Advisory Board of Aurora Capital Partners for ten years.  Prior to Aurora, Terry was COO of Gerdau Ameristeel, one of the largest long steel producers in North America.  Previously, Terry joined Tyco International as one of the operating executives charged with turning around Tyco, assuming the role of President of Tyco Plastics and Adhesives. Earlier in his career he was part of AlliedSignal, which ultimately became Honeywell, in Specialty Chemicals where he had numerous roles in Business Development, Marketing and was the VP-GM of the global Fluorine Products business and then President of the global Process Solutions Division. Terry began his career with Pennzoil and Morton International.

 

Terry received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

John Van Hulle is a PPC Executive Advisor for Americhem. John is CEO of Aurorium. Earlier in his career, John held leadership roles at PolyOne, ChemDesign Corporation, Cambrex Corporation, and General Chemical Corporation. John currently serves on boards related to Laszeray Technology and Northwest Hardwoods. John received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Operations Management and Finance from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.

David White is a PPC Executive Advisor. David was formerly CEO of Border States and now remains involved as Board Chair. He also held the positions of President and Executive VP. Earlier in his career, David held various leadership roles at Shealy Electrical Wholesalers. David currently serves on boards related to ACCO Engineered Systems and Cristo Rey Network.
